The road from Kathmandu to Kodari (Nepal and china border) is quite narrow but black topped and the last 25 km before Nepal Tibet before is bit adventure in the sense that most of its part is bumpy and dusty with lots of landslide areas. The other side of the border (i.e. in Tibet) till NYALAM is the same mountainous road with so many twist and turns. The terrain in the high Tibetan plateau is also not in a good condition with lots of bumps, dusts and some part of the road is graveled but most of its terrain is made by vehicles.
