Route and climatic conditions,

The road from Kathmandu to kodhari (Nepal and china border ) is quite narrow but black topped and the last 25 km before Nepal Tibit befere is bit adventure in the sense that most of its part is bumpy and dusty with lots of landslide areas. The other side of the border (i.e. in Tibet) till NYALAM is the same mountainous road with so many twist and turns. The terrain in the high Tibetan  plateau is also not in a good condition with lots of bumps, dusts and some part of the road is graveled but most of  its terrain is made by vehicles. Tibet is cold ,dry, windy and dusty .Night is even colder then the day. Heavy rain and strong icy winds are common feature during monsoon in high mountain. Flooding rivers and land slides are frequent. The average elevation of the Tibetan plateau is around 4000 meters.
