I just returned from a trip to Kathmandu – 6 days round Kathmandu followed by 10 days in a monastery. I rarely book private tours but since I had only 6 days in Kathmandu and I was travelling alone, I wanted to make the most of my time there so I chose the services of Exciting Nepal. There is no doubt in my mind that I made the right decision.
My trip would never have been so complete if I’d been left to my own devices.
To my initial inquiry, I received a quick reply and whenever I had a question about anything, Subash emailed back immediately.
As an event planner in my job in Holland, attention to detail and flexibility are important.
Exciting Nepal completely took care of everything. Anjul, my lady guide was completely in tune with what I wanted to see and Pradip, our driver, was happy to take me anywhere I wanted to go. Anjul knew exactly where to go for anything I needed – be it having a dress made or getting my nose pierced. She had a contact for everything adding the true sparkle to my time there.
Two days I spent walking through the Kathmandu valley with my second guide, Ramesh. He was very knowledgeable of the area and you could tell he had a respect and love for his country and he kept me motivated to keep walking when the trail got tough. The overnight accommodation in Nagarkot was wonderful with breath taking views of about 20 eagles gliding on the currents below me.
Subash and Ram, the proprietors of Exciting Nepal were a pleasure to deal with in their commitment and flexibility.
If you choose them, you can be confident that they will meet all your requirements. They are very professional and I can honestly say that when I return next time with my husband, I definitely will plan to ask them for their services again.

From booking our treks to arriving back everything was brilliant .we started with white water rafting and went on a 14th feb trek to A.B.C. the views and people along the way were truly beautiful. When we got to ABC the sky’s were blue and we felt really honored to be there .our guides ARJUN and Rajan were the warmest and friendliest people of every one we met , and shared everything they knew and owed with us. Special people and a credit to Nepal and HIMALAYAN SCENERY TREK AND EXPEDITION,

We had a fantastic trip to poon hill and must thanks Raj and his team .Ramkrishana was a sherpa’s leader and guide which helped us thought out, Ram Krishna is a very good man and a friend. The two sherpas were unforgettable and fantastic people that we could not leave without. Thank you ram + family we stayed house between hile and poon hill from maya + haka who become part of our expedition.

We did a trek through “Himalayan Scenery treks” with Krishna as out guide .we walked the Annapurna circuit and it was one of the best experience of all our life. Krishna was very patient and motivating to keep us going, and also know when we had to stop. He knew many people along the way and often we got to experience the real nepali life style when his friends would invite us in for tea in their homes.
I would definitely recommend Krishna and Annapurna circuit with Himalayan Scenery.

I had the most amazing time! I trekked for the first time with my friend Astiva with Shanta as our guide, Parts of the trek were hard, but I loved it all- a fantastic experience. Shanta was an excellent guide, very friendly, happy .kind, knowledgeable about all the areas, but best of all Shanta is now a beautiful friend never to be forgotten. I will definitely be back I am in awe of the Himalaya and beautiful nature. I have found this company to be helpful and kind – I feel very safe and very well looked after .I , my mind I am already planning my next trip back here for a longer trek………., with Shanta as my guide definitely . I love the kindness of the Nepalese. What an amazing country!!

We didn’t expect how the trekking could be but how we are prodded about of talking a guide, his name is SANTOSH GAULI and was the perfect person and guide he was always looking what we needed, our possibilities and typical nepali culture. We have no words to describe all the trekking and also nepali people interact with us. You have to try it to know, so if you want to discover a little bit this country (landscapes, mountains, forest, rivers, people, culture………..) is a good advice to start talking a friendly guide to be introduce in the country.
I hope these words can help anyone in this agency and also our friends of HIMALAYAN SCENERY TREKS & EXPEDITIONS.

I had an amazing time on the trek. I think I experienced every season.the highlight was probably plunging down the hill from Ghorepani to Shikha in three feet of snow and getting stuck in a sheep traffic Jam.Another memorable moment trek to a view of south Annapurna. The clouds had finally lifted and as I took a breath of cold fresh air I truly felt awestruck by the size of the mountain looming in front of me.
My guide and porter (Nayaran & Raman) were both great. I would highly recommend a trek with this company if you are looking for friendly and good quality service. Paying for everything in advance made it a hassle and worry free trek. I was able to Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!

Wow! I wanted to se beautiful scenery and mat is exactly what I found in the langtang area. i saw some wonderful parings and met same great people on the way. My guide Raj was brilliant he taught me many things about nepali and tibeten culture and always looked after for me. He’s a really great guy to the trek with and would recommend him any day.
HIMALAYAN SCENERY TREKS & EXPEDITIONS are a very honest and profession company and can definitely be recommended.

Fabulous!!! The three of us, layla Scottie & Awna, just got back minutes ago from the amqzing Himalayas. We spent I beautiful sunshine days on the langtang trek with GOKUL and RAMAN our wonderful guide & porter. Couldn’t have asked for better weather and company also N.G and Raj in the office organized all our flight problems perfectly. Three very happy customers we are!!
